株式会社エンジンワークス（以下「当社」といいます。）は、当社がMicrosoft Storeその他の方法を通じて提供するWindows向けアプリケーション（以下「本アプリ」といいます。）におけるユーザー情報の取扱いについて、以下のとおりプライバシーポリシー（以下「本ポリシー」といいます。）を定めます。

本ポリシーは、本ポリシーへのリンクが表示されている当社のWindowsアプリに共通して適用されます。

個別のアプリについて本ポリシーと異なる情報の取扱いが必要となる場合は、当該アプリのMicrosoft Storeページ、アプリ内表示、または個別のプライバシーに関する通知において追加事項を明示します。

1. 本アプリがアクセスする情報

本アプリの一部は、その機能を提供するため、ユーザーが自ら選択したファイル、フォルダーその他の端末内データにアクセスする場合があります。

例えば、ファイル名の変更、画像処理、PDF処理、ファイル変換、ファイル整理その他の機能を実行するために、ユーザーが指定したファイルまたはフォルダーを読み取り、変更、作成または保存する場合があります。

これらのデータは、原則としてユーザーの端末内でのみ処理され、当社のサーバーへ送信されません。

本アプリがアクセスする情報は、ユーザーが実行を指示した機能を提供する目的でのみ使用します。

2. 当社による個人情報の自動収集

本ポリシーが適用される本アプリは、特に個別のアプリで明示している場合を除き、当社による以下の情報の自動収集を行いません。

本アプリがユーザーのファイルまたはフォルダーへアクセスする場合であっても、それらの情報を当社が自動的に取得または当社のサーバーへ送信することを意味するものではありません。

3. 端末内に保存される情報

本アプリは、利便性向上のため、以下のような情報をユーザーの端末内に保存する場合があります。

また、一部のアプリでは、障害調査や正常な動作のために診断情報またはログファイルを端末内に生成する場合があります。

これらの情報は、個別に明示されない限り、当社へ自動的に送信されません。

ユーザーは、アプリの設定を初期化したり、本アプリをアンインストールしたりすることにより、端末内に保存された情報を削除できる場合があります。

4. ファイルその他のデータの外部送信

当社は、本アプリを通じてユーザーが処理するファイル、ファイル名、フォルダー情報その他のデータを、個別に明示しユーザーの同意を得ている場合を除き、当社または第三者のサーバーへ送信しません。

本アプリによるファイル処理は、原則としてユーザーの端末内で完結します。

将来、クラウド処理、AI処理、オンライン同期その他の外部通信を必要とする機能を追加する場合には、送信される情報、送信先、利用目的その他必要な事項をユーザーに明示し、適用法令およびMicrosoft Storeのポリシーに従って必要な同意を取得します。

5. お問い合わせ時に取得する情報

ユーザーがメール、問い合わせフォームその他の方法により当社へお問い合わせを行った場合、当社は以下の情報を取得する場合があります。

これらの情報は、以下の目的でのみ利用します。

ユーザーは、お問い合わせに必要のない個人情報や機密情報を送信しないようお願いいたします。

6. 情報の保存期間

お問い合わせ等により当社が取得した情報は、お問い合わせへの対応、不具合調査、法令上の義務その他正当な業務上の目的に必要な期間のみ保存し、必要がなくなった後は合理的な方法により削除または匿名化します。

端末内に保存されるアプリ設定その他の情報については、当社が保有するものではなく、原則としてユーザーの端末上で管理されます。

7. 第三者への提供

当社は、ユーザーの個人情報を販売しません。

また、以下の場合を除き、当社が取得した個人情報を第三者へ提供しません。

業務委託先を利用する場合、当社は利用目的の達成に必要な範囲でのみ情報を取り扱わせます。

8. 広告およびトラッキング

本ポリシーが適用される本アプリは、個別に明示されている場合を除き、第三者広告ネットワークによる広告配信を行いません。

また、個別に明示されている場合を除き、広告目的のトラッキング、ユーザー行動のプロファイリングまたは第三者への行動データの販売を行いません。

9. Microsoft Storeについて

本アプリの購入、ダウンロード、ライセンス管理その他Microsoft Storeによって提供される機能については、Microsoftが独立して情報を処理する場合があります。

Microsoft StoreにおけるMicrosoftアカウント情報、購入情報、決済情報その他Microsoftが取得する情報については、Microsoftが定めるプライバシーに関する規定が適用されます。

当社は、Microsoft Storeでの購入に使用されたユーザーのクレジットカード番号その他の完全な決済情報を取得または保存しません。

10. 情報の安全管理

当社がユーザーから取得した情報を保有する場合、不正アクセス、紛失、漏えい、改ざんその他のリスクを防止するため、合理的な安全管理措置を講じます。

本アプリが端末内で処理するファイルについても、不必要な外部送信を行わないことを基本方針とします。

11. ユーザーの権利

ユーザーは、適用される法令に基づき、当社が保有する自己の個人情報について、開示、訂正、利用停止、削除その他の請求を行うことができる場合があります。

当社が保有する情報について請求を希望される場合は、本ポリシー末尾のお問い合わせ方法によりご連絡ください。

なお、本アプリがユーザーの端末内のみで処理し、当社へ送信されていないファイル、設定その他の情報については、当社は当該情報を保有していないため、当社側での開示または削除を行うことはできません。

12. 子どものプライバシー

当社は、本アプリを通じて子どもの個人情報を意図的に収集することを目的としていません。

本アプリの利用について保護者の同意が必要となる地域または年齢のユーザーは、適用される法令およびMicrosoft Storeの規則に従って本アプリを利用してください。

13. 個別アプリに関する追加事項

将来、一部の本アプリに以下のような機能を追加する場合があります。

これらの機能により本ポリシーに記載されていない情報を取得、利用または送信する必要が生じた場合、当社は当該機能を提供する前に、本ポリシーを更新するか、当該アプリについて追加のプライバシー通知を提供します。

個別のプライバシー通知と本ポリシーの内容が異なる場合には、その個別機能に関しては個別のプライバシー通知が優先して適用されます。

14. 本ポリシーの変更

当社は、法令、Microsoft Storeのポリシー、本アプリの機能または当社の情報取扱方法の変更等に応じて、本ポリシーを変更することがあります。

重要な変更を行う場合には、必要に応じて当社ウェブサイト、Microsoft Store、本アプリその他適切な方法により通知します。

変更後の本ポリシーは、掲載された時点から適用されます。

本ポリシーまたは本アプリにおける情報の取扱いに関するお問い合わせは、該当するアプリのMicrosoft Storeページに掲載されているサポート用メールアドレスまたはサポートページからご連絡ください。

Engine Works Co., Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”) establishes this Privacy Policy regarding the handling of user information in Windows applications that we provide through the Microsoft Store or other distribution methods (“Apps”).

This Privacy Policy applies to Windows Apps published by us that link to this Privacy Policy.

If a particular App requires data handling practices that differ from this Privacy Policy, additional information will be provided on the applicable Microsoft Store product page, within the App, or through a supplemental privacy notice.

1. Information Accessed by Our Apps

Some of our Apps may access files, folders, or other data on a user's device when necessary to provide the functions requested by the user.

For example, an App may read, modify, create, or save files or folders selected by the user in order to perform functions such as file renaming, image processing, PDF processing, file conversion, or file organization.

Such data is generally processed only on the user's device and is not transmitted to our servers.

Information accessed by an App is used only to perform the function requested by the user.

2. Automatic Collection of Personal Information

Unless otherwise expressly stated for a particular App, our Apps covered by this Privacy Policy do not automatically collect the following information for us:

An App's ability to access files or folders selected by a user does not mean that such information is automatically collected by us or transmitted to our servers.

3. Information Stored Locally on the Device

Our Apps may store information locally on the user's device for functionality and convenience, including:

Some Apps may also generate diagnostic information or log files locally on the device for troubleshooting or proper operation.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, such information is not automatically transmitted to us.

Users may be able to remove locally stored information by resetting App settings or uninstalling the App.

4. Transmission of Files and Other Data

We do not transmit files, file names, folder information, or other data processed by users through our Apps to our servers or third-party servers unless this is expressly disclosed and, where required, the user's consent has been obtained.

File processing performed by our Apps is generally completed locally on the user's device.

If we introduce cloud processing, AI processing, online synchronization, or other functionality that requires external transmission of information in the future, we will disclose the information transmitted, its destination, the purpose of transmission, and other required details, and obtain any consent required by applicable law and Microsoft Store policies.

Users should avoid sending personal or confidential information that is not necessary for us to respond to an inquiry.

6. Data Retention

Information received through customer support or other direct communications is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, investigate problems, comply with legal obligations, or fulfill other legitimate business purposes.

When such information is no longer necessary, we will delete or anonymize it using reasonable methods.

App settings and other information stored solely on a user's device are generally controlled by the user and are not held by us.

We do not sell users' personal information.

We do not disclose personal information obtained by us to third parties except in circumstances such as:

8. Advertising and Tracking

Unless otherwise expressly stated for a particular App, our Apps do not display advertising supplied by third-party advertising networks.

Unless otherwise expressly stated, we do not use our Apps for advertising-based tracking, behavioral profiling, or the sale of user behavioral data to third parties.

9. Microsoft Store

Microsoft may independently process information in connection with purchases, downloads, license management, and other features provided through the Microsoft Store.

Microsoft's own privacy terms apply to Microsoft account information, purchase information, payment information, and other information collected or processed by Microsoft in connection with Microsoft Store services.

We do not receive or store users' complete credit card numbers or other complete payment credentials used to make purchases through the Microsoft Store.

10. Data Security

When we hold information received from users, we take reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect it against unauthorized access, loss, disclosure, alteration, or other risks.

As a general principle, our Apps avoid unnecessary transmission of files processed locally on users' devices.

11. User Rights

Depending on applicable law, users may have rights to request access to, correction of, restriction of use of, or deletion of personal information held by us.

Users wishing to make such a request may contact us using the method described at the end of this Privacy Policy.

We cannot provide or delete files, settings, or other information that remains solely on the user's device and has never been transmitted to or otherwise obtained by us.

12. Children's Privacy

Our Apps are not designed for the purpose of intentionally collecting personal information from children.

Users whose use of an App requires parental or guardian consent under applicable law should use the App in accordance with applicable law and Microsoft Store requirements.

13. App-Specific Additional Notices

In the future, certain Apps may include features such as:

If any such feature requires the collection, use, or transmission of information not described in this Privacy Policy, we will update this Privacy Policy or provide an additional privacy notice for the relevant App before introducing the feature.

If an App-specific privacy notice differs from this Privacy Policy, the App-specific notice will control with respect to the relevant feature.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy in response to changes in applicable law, Microsoft Store policies, App functionality, or our information-handling practices.

If we make material changes, we will provide notice where appropriate through our website, the Microsoft Store, within an App, or by another reasonable method.

The revised Privacy Policy becomes effective when it is published.
